Congrats on Becoming an Owner of DROP DIY! 🌱
We're thrilled you’re here and ready to make the most of your new soil moisture sensor! DROP DIY is designed to be easy to set up and gives you a world of possibilities to monitor and automate plant care.
Why We Recommend Home Assistant for DROP DIY 🌐
We’ve designed DROP DIY to work seamlessly with Home Assistant (HA), a powerful tool for managing your smart devices in one place. With Home Assistant, you can view soil moisture levels, get notified about changes, and create custom automations—all from your phone or computer.

Want to Use DROP DIY Without Home Assistant? No Problem! ☁️
If you’d rather keep things simple without a full Home Assistant setup, DROP DIY works great on its own too. With our DROP Cloud Service, you can still enjoy features like push notifications and stay updated on your soil moisture levels directly on your phone!
Here’s How to Get Started with the DROP Cloud Service:
Activate Your Device: Power up DROP DIY and make sure it’s connected to Wi-Fi. You’ll find the setup button on the device.
Sign Up for DROP Cloud: Create an account on DROP Cloud (link to service), which will be your go-to hub for tracking your sensor data.
Connect DROP DIY to DROP Cloud: Follow the on-screen instructions to link your device to the cloud. This will let you monitor moisture levels from anywhere and receive alerts.
Set Up Push Notifications: Choose when you’d like to be alerted about changes in soil moisture levels. Whether it’s an email, a push notification, or even a WhatsApp message, you’re in control!
No Home Assistant required—just a simple, direct connection to keep your plants healthy and thriving.
